MADE WORK LESS WORK

A warm leaving gift for the workmate you will actually miss.

Make the joke something they would enjoy.

Start with a helpful habit, a shared project or something they are proud of. A funny office award works best when the recipient is in on the joke. Skip appearance, personal circumstances and anything that could turn a team lunch into an uncomfortable performance review.

For a farewell, pick one specific contribution and add a personal gift note. “EXPLAINED IT PATIENTLY” says more than a generic “best employee”, without claiming to be an official company award.

One for a workmate, or a matching team set?

One custom ribbon is A$8.50. Each identical extra is A$3.50 when the wording, colour and lettering direction match in the same order. Three matching ribbons cost A$15.50; ten cost A$40. Ten different awards are ten separate designs and cost A$85. Postage is additional.

Write the awards list before you build your basket. Choose one shared phrase for a project team, or separate phrases when the point is recognising what each person did. You can preview each design before adding it.

Keep the presentation small and personal.

Read the award aloud at a team lunch, tuck it into a leaving card, or send it straight to a remote colleague. A short gift note can explain the achievement without squeezing the whole story onto the ribbon.

Allow time for the weekly print batch and delivery. Tuesday is the posting day, not a guaranteed arrival date. Check the shipping page before planning an awards lunch around an order.
